Benny cenac has fostered a family-type environment in his
work culture. Here, all of the workers are treated as a part of the family and
their contributions to the overall business are given equal importance. Rather
than the monetary profits, the organization thrives majorly on giving back to
society in the best manner possible. All of the employees are given equal
ownership of work and responsibilities and together as one big, fat family they
have been working together to improve the living and business conditions of
Houma and Terrebonne Parish coastal lines.
The recent acquisition
In 2015, Cenac Jr. Took a smart decision of
acquiring Main Iron Works, another Houma-based organization that was specialized
in shipbuilding and architecture. With this step, not only did the parent
organization gain a highly experienced child company with 60+ years in ship
works but also metamorphosed it and took it to the next level. Now, Main Iron
Works has its servicing unit and apart from only construction, it can also serve
the stock products with a newly equipped facility out of USD 75 million
investment.
Such is the vision of Benny Cenac Jr. Towards the
organization, as well as the society and his contribution to true sustainable
growth.
