What are the used materials for window framing?

The disadvantage of using this material as most suitable metal framing material for windows and doors is that it is costlier compared to the other commonly used materials for doors and windows like wood, Polyvinyl Chloride etc.

Vinyl frames: This is the cheapest type of frame available in the market other than metal framing materials.As they are worthy solutions most homeowners prefer it for its benefits like lesser price, easy to maintain and does not need any special products to clean them. Vinyl window frames have the added advantage that they are good heat insulators.It is a durable material and can withstand varying temperature ranges also.

Wood frames:

Wood frames are generally considered as the first option for residential buildings. But wood is rather expensive and for his reason vinyl or aluminum is replacing wood in residential areas. It has a classic look and is made from natural material. They are attracted by termites and their durability is questionable.
