What comes in membrane aftercare?

A very important step after micro-pigmentation, micro-needling, micro-blading, tattoo (cosmetic and other too), etc. is the membrane aftercare. The instructions are different for different techniques. Like, in the case of a normal skin tattoo you need to apply a clear gel immediately after the procedure while in the case of scalp micro-pigmentation you need to apply a moisturizer after 4-5 days of the treatment. Even though the permanent makeup artist will tell you about the aftercare after your treatment, it is better to do your research as well.

Using the best balms as membrane aftercare is essential for the proper healing of the skin. Not only balms, but you can also find various gels, liquid tonics, scrubs, cleansers, and creams to provide the proper aftercare to your skin. Balms are usually used after a scalp treatment while scrubs are mostly used for lip care. It is important to use the right form of cream on the treated area. For example, you might damage your scalp if you use the scrub on it instead of a balm, etc. Consulting your doctor (or cosmetician) is very important in this matter.

Not only membrane aftercare but pre-treatment care is also important. Make sure to follow the instructions of your doctor carefully. Some popular aftercare products include; membrane micro balm, membrane vegan micro balm, membrane microPH7 bio-active cleaners, membrane Phyto scrub lips, and membrane skin pro kit. The common benefit of using these products is to speed up the healing process and also to provide relief from any pain or inflammation, which may have occurred as a result of the treatment.

If possible, choose the products for membrane aftercare that are organic, like made from herbs and essential oils, with no added chemicals. This way there will be a minimum chance of you experiencing any allergic reactions. Do a spot-test before applying the product to the whole part. Better safe than sorry.
