FreeStyle Libre System Important Safety Information

 Indications for use
The FreeStyle Libre System is a device for continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). This device manages diabetes for patients at the age of 18 or more. This device aims to diminish the need for blood glucose testing for determining diabetes treatment. This system identifies trends and tracks and various patterns for detecting hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia episodes while facilitating acute and long-term therapy adjustments. The system reading interpretations depend on glucose trends and sequential readings. Single patient and prescription can use this system are required.
Contraindications
MRI/CT/Diathermy: The system should be removed before the Computed Tomography (CT) Scan, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Diathermy treatment. The effect of Diathermy, CT Scan, and MRI on the system's performance is not evaluated yet. The exposure has a high chance of damaging the device's sensor and greater functionality, resulting in incorrect readings.
