As with all the other reviews on this list, let’s start by looking at the power level of this miter saw. In terms of power, the TACKLIFE Sliding Compound Miter Saw isn’t anything special, but it also is perfectly adequate as well. It has a 15 amp motor and it has an RPM output of close to 4000.

So, in other words, it is about on par with other miter saws on this list (although the RPM is slightly lower). The power output may not be the highest around, but it is more than enough for the vast majority of jobs that you are going to be tackling with the saw.

One area where the TACKLIFE Sliding Compound Miter Saw really shines is when it comes to making accurate cuts. It has features that make it significantly easier for you to make double bevel cuts and miter cuts with precise accuracy. It also has a really good laser attachment that makes guiding your cuts a lot simpler as well.

Another really useful feature is the sliding fence. This is good for those of you who often find yourself cutting very large pieces of wood that don’t fit on regular miter saw cutting surfaces. It helps to give you a lot more versatility when it comes to the sorts of woodworking projects that you can tackle.

One issue with this miter saw is the fact that certain parts of the saw seem a bit too fragile. The actual core parts of the saw, like the blade and motor, are fine. However, things like the handle are a bit too fragile for our liking.
