Types of Tattoo Machines

Before you get into the details of tattoo, you need to learn about the tattoo machines first. Tattoo machines are used by the tattoo artists to create skin art creations. However, tattoo artists are still using the same methods that have been used since centuries. These machines have a needle that injects ink into the upper most layer of the skin of the clients in an up and down motion. With the help of tattoo machines the needle moves at the rate of many hundreds or even thousand vibrations per minute to apply tattoo ink on the skin of the client. The tattoo ink is applied at almost a depth of 1 millimeter to make sure the ink does not fade or just fade mildly for many years to come.

Following are some types of tattoo machine:

• The Neuma is the latest type of tattoo machine available in the market nowadays. This machine uses pressure air system to drive needles. It is able to sterilize the needles automatically.
