People worship gods and even they idolize their gods. They always follow the principles given by their gods and they want to lead their life according to the doctrines preached by their gods. But now, times have changed. People do the same thing to another human being and they call them a celebrity. People fascinate more on celebrities. Whom do we consider as celebrities?
People who are often shown on TV or newspaper or any social media, we term them as a celebrity. Apart from that we ourselves will search for that particular person and will show our interest in them. Either we will follow them or tweet them or will like and share their posts. These celebrities can come from any of the fields like singing, acting, athlete, TV anchors, socialists, politicians and many more. We may be attracted to them because of their beauty or talent.
The reasons for admiring the celebrity
• Mainly because we consider them to be important, powerful or famous. Their lives are very transparent so that we can easily seek it. They also seem to lead a different life from ours. And they will have more followers and that makes them so popular.
• Most people want to become popular but they won’t admit it easily. Although they don’t show the interest of becoming popular it will there in their subconscious mind. So by admiring people who are popular, they feel they are associated with their lives.
• We all want to lead a better life that has good financial support. We love to have a sophisticated life that most of the celebrities are leading. Celebrities earn more money than any others. So their lifestyle will be totally different. We always want to live their life.
• Gossiping is one of the hidden nature of most of us. we love to hear gossips especially about the celebrities whom we admire a lot. We love to know more about the problems they are facing and more about their spouse, children, their education, their recently bought car and many more.
• When we see certain people regularly on screen we get more close to them. Although they may not know us in detail we will start enquiring more about them and we would like to have a close relationship with them. This is all mainly because of the curiosity we have.
